Story Behind “King’s Speech”
The name “King’s Speech” has a deeper meaning than it appears; it plays on both the song’s content and its unique visual style. To everyone’s surprise, we used AI lip-sync to have King Charles rap Ghetts’ intense, thought-provoking, and controversial lyrics.
Can you imagine how surreal this would be?
A royal figure rapping with the same energy and passion as Ghetts himself? This move is not about shock value but rather about testing limits to which AI can be pushed in terms of using artistic expression that complements Ghetts persona in the music industry.
A Visual Delight with AI Video
This video is a great immersive experience that matches well with his vibrant and creative persona lyrically. We helped drive his storyline which draws us into Ghetts’ artistic representation through how he could best embody his beliefs and opinions regarding the content of the lyrics.
The combination of Ghetts performing the lyrics seamlessly impersonating King Charles - This visuals gives fans an experience that is both entertaining on screen and is educating to listen to about the current political and economic situation.
No wonder his video has gained 273K views and 693 comments on YouTube alone. That’s pretty impressive.
AI Magic In The Pre-Launch Campaign
We did not just settle with providing the AI lip sync—they were key in shaping the entire visual and conceptual aesthetic of the Music Video. We handled the editing process which was Directed by Ejiro Dafe who has worked on multiple award-winning projects such as Digga D, and Cristale.
We spent the week surfing the web and gathering all relevant and verified BBC videos to use to display such as the Royal Family Choir, homelessness, donations, the Queen, King Charles and Princess Diana, and London city as a whole with relevant economic situations reported from the BBC. This was a seamless process that was smooth.
Our level of expertise ensured that each detail of it was meticulously made to match up with the message contained in the song hence proving that AI has a place in creative works of art. This partnership is an example of how technology can fuse with creativity to produce something remarkable.
